Week 1 Of Season In The Books

Recap: Week 1
The first week for the fantasy football season has ended and there were plenty of surprises around the league. The Bald Eagles scored 105 points (the most in Week 1) beating the Slumlords 105-74. Drew Brees threw 6 touchdowns to help the Billdozers narrowly defeat the Sand Fleas 104-101. On Monday night, the Waterboys lucked out when the Peeps defense gave up a late 4th quarter touchdown, and allowed Philip Rivers to score a few more points to lead them to victory.

Injury Report
In other news, Donovan McNabb suffered a broken rib for the Headbangers, and could be sidelined for the next couple of weeks. Brian Urlacher received season ending surgery on Monday for his dislocated right wrist, and will be missed by the T-Wink-Ies in 2009. Also Anthony Gonzalez will be out for the Dumpsters for a few weeks with a knee injury. Overall, a lot of NFL players were off their game this week. Lets hope they turn it around for Week 2 of the fantasy football season.
