Battle For The Title Begins
Fantasy News & Notes
The regular season is over and the fantasy football playoffs are upon us. Six teams will move on and the others will fight for the throne. The reigning champion Peeps showed they would not go down easy, while the T-Wink-Ies had their 7th straight season end without a playoff berth.Once at 5-2 they looked like a contender, but in the end with all the trades, matchup playing, team swapping, needing teams to win, and phone calls helping other teams' lineups, the T-Wink-Ies ended up pretenders like their trading allies the Dumpsters.
In other news, from last place, to the last pick in the first round, to remaining in last place, the Suicide Kings ended the season with a dismal 4-10 record for the second straight year. Also joining them were the Slumlords who finish the season at 4-10 for the second straight year as well. We will see if the Suicide Kings can float around long enough to repeat as the MNSH Fantasy Football Toilet Bowl Champions, but getting 1pt from Randy Moss seems more likely.
One From The Championship...
The Homewreckers finished the season on top with a 10-4 record for the first time ever in the their existence. Hopefully that will lead them to their first crown as well. They will get the bye week along with the San Fleas who ended up winning the Stonecutters Division. The Billdozers and Skeleton crew will meet for a third time this year in the first round of the playoffs. The Skeleton Crew leads their series 2-0 so far this season. The Waterboys will also face the Peeps in the first round for a third time this year as well. Their series is split at 1-1.Recent News
